Threadfin Salmon are found in northern waters of Australia and Papua New Guinea. They enter Roebuck Bay in Broome in large schools and use their whisker-like projections to navigate the silted estuarine areas in search of food.

This Roebuck Bay Threadfin measuring 87cm is Gyotaku printed with ink on fabric.
