This composite piece captures the brilliance of the 62cm Coral Trout in its natural environment cruising along a reef through the seaweed and coral, scattering the smaller reef fish as it glides. 

All components of this artwork are printed by hand using Gyotaku methods, only the eyes and Coral Trout's spots have been added.

The artwork came "Highly Commended" by judges in the recent Shinju Matsuri Art Awards in Broome.

This piece comes framed ready to hang measuring 80 x 100cm. The artwork is flattened using Urauchi methods for long lasting archival quality, and it has been framed with black grain, floating on hand stained Japanese Asarakusui paper.
